BioSim – an EU research network
In connection with the Sixth Framework Programme, the EU has given a large grant to the DTU-managed research network BioSim. This network has 40 partners: 26 universities, 10 businesses and 4 supervisory authorities.
BioSim aims to gather the best research environments in the EU to develop simulation tools for biological, medical and pharmaceutical models. These models give a deep insight into the basic biological processes and help to considerably accelerate the development of medicines.
