The common theme in my research has been to investigate the various mechanisms and principles that allow bacteria to adapt to and survive in dynamic environments. The current focus is on ‘bacterial adaptive strategies’ in the context of host-pathogen interactions such as Helicobacter- and Pseudomonas infections .
