International Exchange Student

As an Exchange student, you can spend up to two semesters at DTU. These will count as an integral part of your studies at your home university.

Admission requirements for Students applying through the Erasmus program (we do not accept free movers)  

1. You must be enrolled in a formal program of study at higher-education level in one of the participating countries.
2. You must be a citizen of one of the participating countries (or be officially recognised by one as a refugee or stateless person or permanent resident). 
3. You must have completed at least the first year of your university studies.  

Admission requirements for Students on bilateral agreements

This is only possible if your university has a bilateral agreement with DTU. To enroll at DTU as a `bilateral’ student you must: 

1. be enrolled in a degree program at a university when applying.
2. be a graduate or advanced undergraduate student. The minimum requirement is that you have completed university studies in your home country equivalent to the first two years of Danish university studies.

Please note that your application form must be accompanied by an attestation from your home university stating that the information you have given is correct.

Does your home university have an agreement with DTU? Click on this list to see. If it does appear on the list, you should nevertheless contact your home university administration to be sure that the agreement is still active.
