DTU has been struggling with bikes being stolen for years, and has now launched a Hackathon to invite the brightest minds of DTU to help solve the problem. DTU Fotonik invites 30 teams of 1-5 persons to take on the challenge of exploiting LoraWAN and a variety of sensors in order to prevent bike theft. The hackathon is organized by DTU Fotonik as a part of the DTU IoT Center. It is a result of collaboration with industry and High Tech Summit.
The 24 hour event will take off on the 20th of September and be concluded with a prize ceremony on the 21st. For more information or to sign up please email mtoe@fotonik.dtu.dk.
