Erik Mosekilde is the author or co-author of seven monographs, including Danish textbooks in Atomic and Nuclear Physics (1972, 7th edition 1988), Production and Energy (1980), Dynamic Simulation of Sociotechnical Systems (1985), and Non-linear Dynamics and Chaos (1994). Production and Energy provides estimates of the potential for energy conservation and the associated costs for the main production sectors in Denmark. The book also presents a simulation model that can be used to predict the growth in industrial energy requirements in different scenarios with respect to the overall economic growth, the shift in relative significance among the various sectors, and the development in energy prices. Dynamical Simulation of Sociotechnical Systems presents the System Dynamics framework for modeling of micro- and macroeconomic phenomena. Among the considered examples are the dynamics of production-distribution chains and stabilization schemes for commodity markets.
