Our aims within the area of wet flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) are to provide in depth knowledge on current wet FGD issues, to develop mathematical models that quantify wet FGD processes, and to test issues of practical relevance for the power plant industry in our pilot plants.
Our approach is based on classic chemical engineering tools and we have a close co-operation with industrial partners. Our fundamental research supports the practical approach of the industry.
