Report templates, presentation and publication

Centre for Electric Technology (CET) would like all documents and reports to be easily recognisable. Consequently, CET has developed templates, which students are kindly requested to download and use:

Templates

The report layout is compulsory as regards the front page, title page and the back page. Furthermore, we encourage you to use the report layout template below as regards the contents (you don’t get extra points if you create your own layout).

Download Word report template

   • Report-Word-DK-UK-dot.zip (update October 2008)

Report drawn up in another word processing programme
You may use another word processing programme. However, you still have to use the frontpage, page 2 and backpage from the official Word report template.

Download LaTeX template
An often used programme is LaTeX which is very useful for large scientific papers characterised by many figures and charts.

   • Download LaTeX_report_uk_dk.zip (updated June 2010)

      - with choice between language and print-/online-version

   • Instructions in CET reports, please read Word report

   • Maybe consult DTU LaTeX support

PowerPoint presentation template
The template should be used in connection with external and internal presentations such as project presentations.
   • Download English edition of PowerPoint.pot UK (not avaiable for the moment)

Logos: DTU, DTU Electrical Engineering and CET.
Complete collection of logos: DTUs Designguide

Ask one of the section secretaries for assistance with the binding.

Use the second page of this file to print the front page on cardstock with graphics. The printed front page replaces the first page of this document. All other pages are retained including the second page of this document.
