CFU cooperates closely with the industry as well as hospitals and other research institutions.
Currently, we have a very productive cooperation with BK Medical, a major player within biomedical engineering, and Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) to obtain better resolution, contrast and depth penetration in ultrasound scans of the soft tissue structures in the human body.
Engineers and researchers from the private industry are active collaborators suggesting specific topics for M.Sc. or Ph.D. projects and contributing with their experience and expertise in applied research and development as well as acting as external supervisors.
