The research in the Electromagnetic Systems group (EMS) deals with subjects related to electromagnetics and electronics.
In electromagnetism, the subjects cover basic theory such as propagation in inhomogeneous materials, scattering and inverse scattering. Furthermore, they cover a number of application-oriented fields such as antenna design and measurement techniques and microwave imaging.
In electronics, the focus is on microwave technology and monolithic microwave integrated circuits for wide-band electronics. Furthermore, focus is on Terahertz electronics, measurements and imaging.
