The ene.field project, the hitherto largest demonstration of fuel cell systems for combined heat and power for individual buildings in Europe, is gathering speed.

The Ene.field project have started in earnest. The largest demonstration of fuel cell systems for combined heat and power for individual buildings in Europe have now begun installing combined heat and power systems in approx. 1000 residential households, schools and institutions in Denmark and 11 other 12 European countries over the coming weeks and months.

To coordinate the efforts, all partners of ene.field, representing the boiler manufacturers, utilities and research bodies like DTU Energy Conversion from the Technical University of Denmark, met a week ago in Paris to discuss the next steps for the field trials and the market growth of fuel cell systems in Europe.

Information about the ene.field project and the manufacturers interested in deploying can be found in the project website: http://enefield.eu/
