On 1 September 2014, Nordic Power Converters (NPC) was started as a spinout from DTU Electrical Engineering with the founders as first employees.
At the same time, NPC commenced a four month elite hardware accelerator programme with Scion DTU, “Danish Tech Challenge” and is now residing in building 356.
Further to office space, this programme offers business development support, networking with peers and a chance for the best start-up to win DKK 500,000.

The team behind NPC was one of two winners of Climate KIC Nordic Venture Competition held at DTU on 11 September 2014.
With the victory comes access to the European final in Valencia, Spain, at the end of October, an attractive accelerator programme and a prize of € 20,000: http://www.climate-kic.org/.
Hence, the NPC has made a great start and has good traction with coming partners and seek a significant seed investment round in 2014 Q4.
