I'm Director of Data Science and Automation at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability. In this role I'm responsible for developing data science and automation infrastructure to support our basic research as well as commercialization-oriented research.

My research work is focused on cell factory design using genome-scale models and mining of big biological datasets. More information can be found on the iLoop Design Unit page:  http://www.biosustain.dtu.dk/english/Research1/iLoop-Core-Unit/Design-Unit. I also coordinate the EU Horizon 2020 DD-DeCaF project focused on building bioinformatics services for data-driven desisign of cell factories and communities: http://dd-decaf.eu/ as well as project OLEFINE focusing on using cell factories to produce insect pheromones http://olefine.eu
