Diffuse Radiation and Temperature Effects on Crop Water Use Efficiency The aim of my PhD is to investigate and understand vegetation properties that can be acquired from optical and thermal sensors located in remote sensing platforms in order to increase the water use efficiency on crops. An important part will be to assess the diffuse radiation and temperature effects on crops. During my research, field measurements will be carried out to validate the data obtained from UAVs and satellites images, and radiative transfer models will be conducted to simulate possible outputs. In addition, photosynthesis, evapotranspiration and fluorescence processes will be explored in a controlled growth chamber experiment.
