DTU Transport is a department at DTU, organised with a head of department, a staff function, five areas of research and a Modelcenter.
DTU Transport is a new department at DTU established as a merger between Danish Transport Research Institute (DTF) and Centre for Traffic and Transport (CTT). The department carries out research within social sciences, engineering sciences and adjacent disciplines. It is important to the department to produce high-quality research that can be published internationally. Furthermore, the research must be relevant as the basis of the consultancy services the department offer to the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Justice and other national authorities.
