Priority model for bicycle initiatives (CPP)

The project aim is to develop a priority model that can rank different types of projects, all with the purpose of promoting bicycling as transport mode. The model will be applied by the Danisk Road Directorate for nationwide funding of proposals.

 

Uncertainties in transport project evaluations (UNITE)

The project seeks to explore uncertainties relating to the evaluation of transport projects. Its aim is to develop both theory and practice that can lead to better estimates for, for example, construction costs and demand prognoses.

 

TRANSvisions

The project seeks to formulate visions for the European transport development until 2050. This is carried out by exploring different scenarios and by using Delphi examinations and expert seminars.

 

TEN Connect

The project seeks to develop a uniform and coherent tool to assess the major transport corridors in EU27 and their extension into the neighboring countries and to other major trade partners.

 

VINNOVA – Public transport appraisal

The project aim is to complement a cost benefit analysis for public transport systems with a multi criteria analysis including impacts which can be described in a quantitative or qualitative manner. The involvement of decision makers in the appraisal process is another aim.

 

Strategic Transport Management in the Øresund Region (STMØ)

The project seeks to develop an interregional master education, located at Øresundsuniversitetet, which will provide students, business, organisations and authorities with competences to make optimised and valid solutions for Startegic Transport Management (STM).

 

East-West project

The Danish parts of INTERREG III B have as their task to carry out a pre-feasibility study including urban planning, environmental impact and capacity issues, for the port of Esbjerg . The main objective of the Danish part of WP3 is to develop a software tool for such pre-feasibility studies.

 

TGB-Greenland

Traffic plan for Greenland: Decision tool. The project aims to develop a model tool which can be made use of in connection with the traffic planning on Greenland, and thereby contribute to the further development of the Greenland transport system.

 

Centre for Logistics and Freight Transport

The Centre for Logistics and Freight Transport (CLG) is a multi-disciplinary research centre on logistics and freight transport. The Decision Modelling Group has especially been involved in the Task 9 about evaluation methodology.

 

TRANSFORUM

This project was concerned with a forum for innovative tools for supporting a more knowledge-based and better informed decision-making process among other things by developing the concept of sustainable mobility and making it operational.

 

Enlargement futures

The Enlargement Futures project was concerned with the development of the transport sector in the new member countries and was managed by the Institute of Prospective Technology Studies (IPTS), EU Joint Research Centre, Seville. Steen Leleur served as external expert.

 

COSIMA - VEJ

The project concerned the development of the COSIMA-VEJ Model for the Danish Road Directorate.

 

SCANDIC BRIDGE

The Scandic Bridge Project is an examination of consequences of establishing a goods rail link between Esbjerg Harbour and Karlshamn Harbour.

 

Airfield study in Ilullisat, Greenland

The project concerned a socio-economic assessment of airfield in Greenland.

 

ASTRA

The purpose of the ASTRA project was to introduce new analysis methods in transport planning with a special emphasis on multi-criteria analysis (MCA) and geographical information systems (GIS).

 

CODE-TEN (Strategic Assessment of Corridor Developments, TEN Improvements and Extensions to the CEEC/CIS)

The general aim of the CODE-TEN project was to assist with decision-making in the complex environment of contemporary transport geography characterised by the new concept of ‘corridor’.

 

TEN-ASSESS (Policy assessment of Trans-European Networks & Common Transport)

The main issus for TEN-ASSESS was to provide a preliminary policy assessment methodology related to decisions on transport infrastructure investments and service evaluations.

 

EUNET (Socio-Economic and Spatial Impacts of Transport Infrastructure Investments and Transport System Improvements)

The project consisted of two subprojects: EUNET and SASI. The work of the two subprojects was brought together by a joint scientific committee.

 

TEAM – Transport Economics and Decision Models

The main objective of the TEAM project was to find theoretical and empirical economic evaluation methods that can be used on transport economic problems

 

Centre for Transport research on Environmental and Health Impacts and Policy (TRIP)

The centre for Transport Research on environmental and health Impacts and Policy, TRIP, was an open research centre linking researchers from different universities and other research institutions.

 

TEN Invest

The project concerned transport infrastructure costs and investments between 1994 and 2010 on the Trans-European Transport Network and its connections to neighboring regions. The project included also an inventory of the technical status.

 

TRANS-TALK

TRANS-Talk was a thematic network to bring together scientists, professionals and policy makers who have worked on the development of transport policy & project evaluation methodologies. Among other things, the Decision Modelling Group contributed with a study about the fixed link between Copenhagen and Malmoe.
