For students at the Bachelor and especially Master level, it is also possible to arrange individual courses in specialized subjects that are not covered by the regular courses. Often such courses are arranged after one of the regular courses, where a few (or even one) student is especially interested in the subject and are interested in further more in-depth studies in this area. About 20 % of DTU Transport teaching load have traditionally been individual courses. However, some of the subjects where so popular, that they have now lead to new courses – especially at the graduate level. Individual courses are agreed upon with the relevant teacher.
