DTU places great importance on providing competent research based consultancy to authorities and businesses to assist them in meeting international and Danish climate targets.
Authorities
Concurrently with the conclusion of international climate agreements and as Denmark must meet its responsibility for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, technology transfer and climate finance, the demand for research-based consultancy will rise.
The public sector will have a greater need for comprehensive and research-based decision making, and a research system that can quickly provide technical advice on climate issues, when needs arise.
DTU provide its technical and scientific knowledge for free. Therefore, we can support critical political decisions and administrative actions that pave the way for effective implementation of climate action plans.
Business
The need in the business sector for advice and assistance to technology development and commercialization of climate technologies is growing as well. Through Climate DTU, we will assist in meeting those needs.
DTU has extensive experience in working with companies to transfer research results into commercial products, and DTU contributes to sustainable and commercial solutions.
We are open to partnerships with companies where we work together on research projects and put at the companies’ disposal DTUs equipment or let them install their own equipment in DTUs laboratories.
