To fulfill the political vision of Denmark as one of the world's leading technology laboratories for new green technologies, there is need for further focus on collaboration between companies and researchers to find usable energy and climate technology solutions.

We see great opportunities in partnerships between the public and private sector and we aim at building partnerships with companies on technology development where we together put focus on developing new business opportunities.

It is our goal that the activities of Climate DTU lead to new agreements, consortia and specific projects within the development and application of climate technologies and processes. The ultimate goal is that new technologies and processes to help reduce CO2 emissions and ensure production and welfare under changing climate conditions.

We aim at giving companies greater access to testing and demonstration facilities, which are important for the Danish companies' R&D and we aim in cooperation with businesses at creating good framework conditions in the area.

DTU is engaged in Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster (CCC). In CCC auspices there has been launched gap-funding initiatives and a series of meetings between researchers and industry for matchmaking.

DTU has a close cooperation with Danish Industry and Danish Energy Association on climate technology.
