South Korea. The agreement implies that DTU students who spent 6-12
months at KAIST and earn credits corresponding to appx. 50-60 ECTS
points, can obtain a master degree from DTU and KAIST simultaneously. Since KAIST is highly recognized in Asia this is an excellent entrance to further studies in Asia, jobs in Asia, or simply valuable contacts to a different culture.
The general agreement between the universities has now been followed by two specific agreements:
- one between DTU Mathematics and Department of Mathematical Sciences at KAIST, and
- one between DTU Informatics and Department of Computer Science at KAIST.
These agreements specify the exact rules, and the relevant courses at KAIST.
