Studying in Denmark

International students are generally very satisfied with the experience from their study in Denmark. In a recent survey from the Ministry of Education 92 % of the foreign students answered that they would recommend studying in Denmark to their friends at home.

 

Mathematical Modelling

Students with university degrees or similar were particularly positive in the evaluation. 72 % of those considered applying for a position in Denmark after their final exam.

 

The high quality of the study, the considerable improvement of own career possibilities and the fact that English is the working language used in classes were listed as the main reasons for choosing Denmark as the destination for a study abroad.

  • is ranked 2nd on citation impact score among technical universities in Europe (THES 2006)
  • is ranked 194th among all world universities (THES 2006)
  • puts emphasis on combination of theory and practice via projects and lab work
  • has a high teacher-to-student ratio (1:4.4)
  • has high student-teacher interaction during/after classes
  • graduates obtain careers within high tech companies, universities (PhD) or research institutions.
