How can complex research data be presented on a video in a creative and easily understandable way? Student Ulf Aslak Jensen from DTU Compute solved that challenge and won first prize for this year's video competition "Data Stories ", category “Student Winner”, organized by the influential journal Science.

Ulf Aslak Jensen's submission is an engaging merger of video and motion graphics showing the social interaction and data from the DTU project SensibleDTU.

The project is a data collection, where more than 1,000 DTU students have been given a smartphone with software which logs the phone location in time and space as well as all social interactions made with the phone : emails, text messages, phone calls and activities on online networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
