Researchers worldwide are choosing DTU education

Wind energy

DTU’s new online master in Wind Energy attracts people from all over the world – from North- and South America to Europe, Asia and Australia.

The first semester of DTU’s new online master will begin on September 4. With the new programme, participants have the possibility to study from home. This has made employees from the wind industry and others interested in wind power worldwide sign up for the programme, as shown in the survey of the 33 participants, who have signed up for the course.

“It is very gratifying that the education has such a large reach. It has been our wish from the beginning and the idea behind making an online education”, says Merete Badger, head of studies on the online master.

Next semester coming up
There is no need to worry, if you have not signed up for the first semester of the course. On September 1, registration for the second semester will start. The focus of the second semester will be aerodynamics and aero elasticity, grid connection and integration of wind energy, as well as the economic and societal significance of wind energy.

The education is taught entirely in English and it is thus a requirement that the participants masters the English language.

The registration for the second semester will conclude on November 15 and the semester starts on January 29 2018.
