Online Master is a great success

Wind energy

Earlier this year, DTU Wind Energy launched a new e-learning Master in wind energy. The first semester is a huge success and people are signing up for second semester. You can too.

”We are half way through the first semester, and every week we gather feedback in order to become even better,” says Merete Badger, who is in charge of the e-learning master.

The e-learning master is the first of its kind offered by a Danish university and it has been well received. 33 participants from all over the world have signed up for the first semester. Some already work within the field of wind energy, whereas others have signed up in order to try to obtain a job within the field of wind energy.

”The participants have very different backgrounds and that makes it interesting. However, it also makes it a bit challenging to teach, because they have different levels of knowledge. Still, most participants have set out for a great start. The participants seem content and hand in their assignments on time,” explains Merete Badger.
