\nThis project presents results from simulating the operation of a hybrid power plant (HPP) in the National Electricity Market in Australia. The simulated HPP was the Kennedy Energy Park, the world’s first utility-scale HPP which is expected to begin operation in 2019. This project assumed the market was operating under rule changes currently being explored by AEMO which would enable the registration of bi-directional-capable power plants as a separate market category.
