Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

Strategic partnership with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Purpose

Nanyang Technological University is one of the world’s leading institutions for higher education and science. Since independence Singapore has invested heavily in science and technology, one of several reasons why the country is among the richest in the world today. Historically, DTU and NTU have engaged in several joint projects, hereunder the Smart Cities World Lab consortium. The project has concluded and important finding and results can be found on Danish Industry Foundation webpage.

Singapoore has an increasing focus on sustainability and the environment, and the country has also fomulated its ’30-by-30’ strategy, set to make the country able to supply itself with 30% of its food and beverage consumption. 

Activities

  • Student mobility, where NTU is one of the most popular destinations for DTU students
  • Research collaboration within the areas of water and environmental technology, maritime studies and green shipping, renewable energy, food technology and biotechnology
