Introduction Week

The introduction week gives you the opportunity to network and get to know your fellow students. You will also be introduced to your study programme and gain insight into life as a student at DTU.

Welcome Day

Friday 21 August from 1 pm - 5 pm is Welcome Day for all newly admitted BSc students. The goal of the Welcome Day is to introduce you to campus, your study line, your fellow students and to help you with the transition from being a pupil to becoming a student.

During the day there are a lot of fun activities where you get a chance to think creatively and you get to know your fellow students better.

The Welcome Day is organized in cooperation between DTU and DTU's student association Polyteknisk Forening (PF). You can find more information about the Welcome Day in the welcome letter you receive from PF per mail. You can also find the information on the PF website

Intro events at the end of August

Due to COVID-19 DTU will not be organizing rustrips for newly admitted BSc students in connection with the study start August / September 2020. Instead, DTU's student association PF will organize two-day introduction events at DTU's campus in Lyngby during Saturday 22 August - Friday 28 August from 9 am - 9 pm.

The intro events  give you the opportunity to meet new students from your own study programme as well as new students from other study programmes.

The events include a combination of academic and social activities, which aim to give you the best introduction to your study programme and your new fellow students. The events will among other things include a presentation from DTU's Dean of Undergraduate Studies, The Danish Society of Engineers (IDA) and PF's board.

In addition to the two-day introductory events, a one-day event will also be held on Thursday 27 August.

DTU will provide lunch and dinner in connection with the intro events.

You can find more information about the intro events and how to register in the welcome letter you receive from PF per. mail. You can also find the information on the PF website.
