Ideas on Innovative Doctoral Training

Monday and Tuesday 29-30 August 2016, a 2-day Workshop on Innovative Doctoral Training took place at DTU in Lyngby (DK). The point of departure was the conclusions and recommendations from the Discussion Paper “Innovative Doctoral Training at Universities of Science and Technology”.

In 2015, the technical university alliances CESAER, CLUSTER, EuroTech, IDEA League and Nordic Five Tech published a joint paper to contribute to the ongoing European debate on the future of doctoral training.

As a follow-up, a 2-day workshop was organized with the aim to promote further discussions about Innovative Doctoral Training and the possibilities for scaling up of the best practice examples among partner universities and beyond.
