You can only register 55 ECTS in the Programme specific category. If you take more courses, the ECTS exceeding this will be registered as electives. 

If doing a thesis on 32.5 or 35 ECTS, the ECTS exceeding 30 will be taken from the elective category. E.g., if writing a 35 ECTS thesis, you will only have 25 ECTS electives available.
