The Climate-KIC Master Label Programme adds extra value to selected master’s degree programmes at DTU. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Climate-KIC certificate in addition to your regular degree.
Are you an entrepreneurial student ready to use your education in addressing real life climate challenges? And are you eager to discover how the latest climate change science is being transformed into new businesses, products and services?
By participating in the Climate-KIC Master Label programme, you will become part of EU's largest community on climate change adaptation and mitigation, and start your own journey into climate entrepreneurship.
To obtain the Climate-KIC certificate you must
- Participate in the Journey - our unique five-week climate innovation summer school, visiting three different European countries.
- Attend our series of thought provoking seminars and talks: SPARK! Lectures.
- Spend 15 ECTS / 3 months abroad (e.g. studying abroad or doing field work for your master’s thesis) + gain 15 ECTS / 3 months of real life work experience (e.g. internship or doing your master’s thesis with a company).
- Attend courses in complementary fields to your master's studies, e.g. in the fields of entrepreneurship if your master is climate science related.
- Write your master thesis on a topic related to climate change and entrepreneurship.
