DTU marks Uniform at Work Day

On Wednesday 27 September, DTU supported the first Uniform at Work Day in Denmark.

As a symbol of the support for the reservists and the volunteers, Rasmus Larsen received InterForce's Shield on behalf of DTU.

The new day was introduced by the Ministry of Defence and aims to create dialogue and awareness of the volunteers' great efforts for the Danish Defence and Emergency Management Agency. The day was marked across the country in a wide range of public workplaces.

DTU invited all reservists and volunteers in the Armed Forces, the Home Guard, the Danish Emergency Management Agency and the Coastal Rescue Service to a morning event. Provost Rasmus Larsen hosted the event, which offered morning coffee at DTU Lyngby Campus.

The event was visited by Colonel Per Rouff from Interforce Denmark and Lieutenant Colonel Michael Clausen Toft from the Home Guard District North Zealand, who thanked the volunteers for their efforts.

Ramus Larsen talked about DTU's collaboration with Defence and Emergency Management in Security DTU.

The day will in the future take place on the last Wednesday in September.
