New test facility for testing sustainable fuels

DTU students and researchers will test Power-to-X technologies in in the GreenLab industrial park in Skive to learn more about, for example, how to produce green hydrogen for heavy transport.

  • Size: 0.5 MW
  • The facility is fully operational, but will primarily be used for education and research activities.
  • From the end of 2024 , the facility will be hired out to educational institutions, companies, and researchers in general.

The transportation sector is emitting more and more CO2 from cars, trucks, planes and shipping. To reverse this trend, more of the known solutions and technologies need to come into play.

DTU is a leader in research and education in key technologies such as green electricity, green fuels, electrification of society and battery technology development.
