Nine DTU researchers receive Sapere Aude DFF-Starting Grant research grant from the Independent Research Fund Denmark

In total, 41 talented research leaders received 247 million DKK from the Independent Research Fund Denmark to conduct their groundbreaking research funded by the Sapere Aude: DFF-Starting Grant.

  • Sapere Aude means ”Dare to Know” and is given to talented, younger researchers who are ready to lead a research project at a high international level.
  • The grant allows the researchers to develop and strengthen their research ideas and start their own research groups. It will also promote mobility internationally and nationally between research environments.
  • The researcher can apply for a grant of a maximum of DKK 6.2 million (incl. 44% overhead) for a project of up to 4 years duration.
