In the recently published Leiden Ranking DTU remains the highest ranked university in the Nordic region. At the same time DTU maintains its ranking as no. 6 in the world when it comes to collaborative publications with industry.
The Leiden Ranking compares universities discipline for discipline, and is internationally recognized as the best bet for an objective method for comparing universities.
The ranking is based on a sophisticated set of bibliometric indicators that provide statistics on the scientific impact of universities and on universities’ involvement in scientific collaboration.
On the "Collaborative Publications with Industry" indicator DTU is ranked as:
- no. 2 in the Nordic region
- no. 4 in Europe
- no. 6 in the world
• The CWTS Leiden Ranking 2015 offers key insights into the scientific performance of 750 major universities worldwide based on Web of Science indexed publications from the period 2010–2013.
• The ranking is compiled by researchers at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
