According to QS World University Rankings, DTU is ranked number 112 among the world’s top 1,000 universities.
With University of Copenhagen and DTU as the highest-ranking Danish universities, the five largest Danish universities now move up collectively in the QS World University Rankings.
The University of Copenhagen is number 72, while DTU occupies 112. place on the ranking list comprising the world’s top 1,000 universities.
The ranking involves aspects such as university reputation in the academic world and among employers, the proportion of researchers and students, the number of citations per researcher, as well as the proportion of international researchers and students.
The University of Copenhagen is ranked highest in Denmark in terms of academic reputation, but DTU ranks higher in terms of productivity measured as the number of citations per researcher.
DTU also has the largest proportion of both international students and international researchers and lecturers among the Danish universities.
