In an annual image survey, the Danish news media Version2 has named DTU IT workplace of the year.

It is the first time DTU is included in the survey, which has now been completed for the third time.

The approximately 1400 participants in the survey are IT professionals (business people with a higher IT education and/or people who have IT as a primary or essential area of work). On average, 474 responses have been received per company.

The survey includes 60 of the largest companies in the Danish IT industry, which have 'production of IT as a core service’. They are divided into six industry categories - including public administration. Read more about the survey here (pdf in Danish).

DTU achieves the prime position in the 'overall image' category as well as in 'knowledge', 'attractiveness', 'professional challenges', 'management and workplace culture' and 'social responsibility' - and second place in the 'work-leisure balance' category. In the 'salary and benefits' category, however, DTU is down to 57th place.

In connection with the award, the provost at DTU, Rasmus Larsen, says to Version2:

“Technology is changing the world, and this may be especially true of IT and digitalization. It changes the way we work and live. When IT professionals recognize DTU, I think it is because we are leading the way in exactly that change of society. ”
