My research focuses on how machine learning can improve decision-making when the future is uncertain. As part of the DECIDE project, I work with Deep Generative Scenario Search (DGSS), exploring how deep learning can identify and represent the uncertainty that matters for a decision and integrate it into stochastic optimisation. I am interested in developing methods that are both interpretable and useful for real decision problems, with applications including portfolio optimisation, energy, and infrastructure planning.
