The world has shown interest in CRIMTRACK sniffer system from Associate Professor Mogens Havsteen Jacobsen’s research group ”Surface Engineering”.

Thus the international news agency Reuters has visited DTU Nanotech to make a short video of the current state of the project.

"Chemical sniffer system could replace bomb squad dogs," Reuter says in the headline, and describes the system shortly: A prototype chemical ''sniffer system'' that detects criminal substances such as illegal drugs or explosives, and the chemical precursors used to make them, has been developed by researchers at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
