There are several possibilities available for meeting the researchers and gaining an insight into their work. For example, pay DTU a visit during open-house events, the High Tech Summit, RoboCup, and other events, or learn more about the research through the articles and videos which are published on DTU media.
DTU plays its part in the public debate, and several times a year it is possible to meet researchers and students. DTU participates, for example, in Folkemødet The People’s Democratic Festival, The Danish Science Festival, and Culture Night.
Twice a year, DTU invites anyone interested to attend the DTU Ørsted Lectures, where prominent and leading foreign researchers give a professional presentation of their research and findings.
Offers for schools
Pupils, students and teachers at primary school and lower and upper secondary schools have various opportunities for visiting DTU and involving research in their teaching. It is, for example, possible to attend lectures which are specifically targeted at upper secondary school students as well as Specialised Study Project (SRP) exercises, courses for teachers, and camps.
If you’re interested in pursuing a science education, and you are thinking about starting at DTU, DTU invites young people and their parents to attend its Open House event for all courses, which is held in March.
