Teacher and researcher within: Metal forming, theory of plasticity, analysis and optimization of processes, tools and presses. Research especially focussed on cold forging, plate rolling, hydroforming, incremental forming of sheet and manufacturing of superconductors. Manufacturing tribology: Testing and modelling of friction, lubrication and wear in metal forming. Solid phase welding: Analysis and modelling of bond formation in cold welding. Resistance welding: Spot welding and projection welding of complex geometries and material combinations. Numerical modelling of resistance welding. Testing of resistance welding machines.
