Student innovation

Does your company need innovative input from an engineering student? Students at DTU work with specific problems and targeted solutions.

DTU Skylab

DTU Skylab is an innovation hub that focuses on promoting student innovation for all DTU students. The focus is on increasing and enabling student innovation and entrepreneurship, including through collaboration with companies.

In Skylab, students have access to test ideas in prototype workshops that can facilitate work with wood, metal, open-source electronics, 3D printing, laser cutting, filming and editing, as well as chemical and biological laboratory work.

Companies that collaborate with DTU students can thus gain access to new innovative solutions to engineering problems.

DTU Engineering Technology

DTU Engineering Technology focuses on hands-on solutions through collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises in particular.

It offers a variety of collaboration formats between companies and students—for example through the Innovation Pilot course or through a project process with a student.

Longer and closer collaboration can be established through an internship or a student job.
