The global appeal of the programme is demonstrated by the high number of applicants stemming from outside the EU. The success of the programme in strengthening incoming mobility is clearly established by the number of different nationalities of fellows and the distribution of fellows stemming from the EU and the rest of the world.

The potential candidates are clearly highly qualified, as demonstrated by the distribution of review scores. This is further emphasised by the fact, that only applicants with the best possible scores (6 and 5) are awarded fellowships.
