My research field is the model-based investigation of flow and transport of contaminants and pesticides in porous media with a focus on fractured geologies and coupled porous-media - free flow systems. My work closely combines experimental work and modeling to enhance the understanding and predictability of mass transfer processes in fractured and porous media. Part of my work is the development of a wiki about contaminant transport in fractured limestone aquifers (https://limestone.env.dtu.dk).
