Keywords X-ray crystallography | Powder diffraction | In situ synchrotron studies | Structure property relationships | Porous materials | New functional and nano-structured materials

The aim of my research is to find fundamental structure-property relationships in materials. The method is crystallographic studies on single-crystals and powders using conventional and synchrotron X-rays. In particular are reactions studied in situ with powder diffraction and X-ray absorption spectroscopy. Materials of interest are for example porous materials, energy storage materials, new functional and nano-structured materials, proteins and pharmaceutical systems.
