When will we see self-driving cars on the roads in Denmark?

Denmark is trailing the US and other European countries when it comes to getting driverless on the road. Why is this and what needs to be done to speed things up?

Facts

Otto Anker Nielsen is a professor of transport modelling at DTU Management, and aims to improve forecasts for transport projects and policies with a focus on enhancing mobility and reducing the social costs of transport.

He has participated in a wide range of projects relating to transport modelling, road pricing, transport project planning, public transport, the use of geographic information systems, and the development of methods and software within the transport sector.
