Hej and welcome on my profile! My name is Amber and I'm a genderqueer (transfeminine) and queer person using they/them pronouns (DK: de/dem). I am strongly committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles and actively seek to contribute to a more inclusive, equitable, and supportive culture at DTU and within academia more broadly. With a background in climate physics, my research focuses on how changes in the climate system related to greenhouse gas emissions impact the ocean circulation, and consequently marine ecosystems. I have specific interest in tipping elements (North Atlantic subpolar gyre and AMOC), and internal variability. I study these impacts through combining Earth System Models (ESMs) and Marine Ecosystem Models (MEMs). Outside work you can catch me at one of Copenhagen's drag shows. Sometimes as a performer, other times as an audience member.
