Sustainable mobility Behavioral and experimental economics Emission trading Field experiments Tradable credit schemes
I am a PhD student in the Transport Science section at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), researching how market-based policy instruments can support more sustainable transport. My work focuses on Tradable Credit Schemes and their potential to influence travel behavior, reduce congestion, and lower emissions. My PhD is carried out in collaboration with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), with a strong orientation toward evidence-based policy design. Drawing on my background in behavioral economics, I combine laboratory and field experiments to examine how individuals understand, accept, and respond to transport policies in real-world settings. My research aims to bridge behavioral science, transport economics, and public policy, contributing practical insights for the design of effective and socially acceptable mobility interventions.
