Bringing Structure to Messy Metadata My work centers on research registration i.e. managing and maintaining DTU Orbit, DTU’s institutional repository. This involves:Adding publications to DTU Orbit on behalf of researchersQuality control - ensuring high-quality metadataCompliance with publisher Open Access policies as well as funder mandatesManaging embargosCollaboration with researchers to support smooth deposit workflows It Takes Knowledge to Ask a Question I teach academic information seeking and essentially help researchers and students combat information overload. My role here involves helping refine search strategies, selecting and evaluating databases and other resources as well as managing citations. I am currently exploring how generative AI can be used in literature reviews and how it affects learning, critical thinking and source evaluation. I regularly host webinars.
