Using interdisciplinary tools within environmental chemistry and biology, I investigate environmental pollutants that pose a risk to wildlife and public health. My research focuses on environmental forensics and applies global metabolomics and non-target analysis (NTA) to perform environmental fate and occurrence investigations of pollutants and their impact on environmental quality. I use Orbitrap ultrahigh resolution mass spectrometry systems in targeted and non-targeted approaches to characterize the exposome, metabolome and proteome. Guest researchers are very welcome and frequent visitors in our team.
