Four awards for researchers from Hearing Systems

Last week, nine researchers from the Hearing Systems group, DTU Elektro, participated at the annual meeting (DAGA) of the German Acoustical Society, which took place in Nürnberg this year. The contributions of the group were acknowledged with four awards.

The Hearing Systems group has got two new visiting PhD students: Rachel Bou Serhal from Université de Quebec, Montréal in Canada and Arturo Moncada-Torres from KU Leuven in Belgium.

EU network meeting in Leipzig

The Hearing Systems Group was represented by several members at the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus Mundus Student Exchange Network in Auditory Cognitive Neuroscience coordinated by the University of Leipzig on April 25-27.

ICanHear Winter School in Switzerland

On a Sunday night early in February, a winding road brought the ICanHear Winter School participants up to snow-covered Wildhaus in the Swiss Alps. Our hearing group was represented with two PhD students (Suyash Joshi, Christoph Scheidiger), one post-doc (Tobias May) and two professors (Torsten Dau, Bastian Epp).
