Sten Scheibye receives the DTU Gold Medal at DTU Commemoration 2024

The DTU Gold Medal is awarded to someone who has made a long-term effort in the strategic and managerial area and strengthened DTU's position nationally and internationally.

Sten Scheibye has worked with the research-intensive part of Danish business and foundations and has held several top positions in the pharmaceutical industry. Sten Scheibye was DTU's Chairman of the Board from 2009-2012 where he, among other things, was involved in the merger of IHK in Ballerup, as well as the establishment of the Novo Nordisk Center for Biosustainability, also called DTU Sustain.
